The National Gallery Invites to the Exhibition in Honour of the 80th Anniversary of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts

On Wednesday, 11 April 2018, the National Gallery launched an exhibition of works by the sculptors and artists-academicians of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, which this year celebrates its 80th anniversary. The exhibition is called Likovni Umetniki SAZU.

The exhibition presents 69 works by 23 authors. The list of artists includes Rihard Jakopič, Maksim Gaspari, Anica Sodnik-Zupanec, France Mihelič, Lojze Spacala, Zoran Mušič, Gabrijel Stupica, Janez Bernik, Valentin Oman, Emerik Bernard, Metka Krašovec, Jožef Muhovič, as well as sculptors Lojze Dolinar, Zdenko Kalin, Boris Kalin and Drago Tršar.

It should be noted that for 80 years of its activity, the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts has registered 17 Slovenian artists, 2 foreign artists and 4 sculptors as its academicians.

The work of the exhibition will last until 3 June 2018.
