Specialists from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana Develop a Study Programme in Macroeconomics
Specialists from the Centre for Business Excellence of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana have developed a short study programme in Macroeconomics involving a 4-day course of study. The target audience of the new programme includes entrepreneurs, politicians, scientists, as well as everyone who is interested in macroeconomics, regardless of age and qualification. Teachers – Prof. Dr Maks Tajnikar and Prof. Dr Petra Došenović Bonča. Lectures with the presentation of macroeconomic data for Slovenia will take place on Thursdays, on 26 September, 03, 10 and 17 October 2019.
According to the developers of the programme, the knowledge of macroeconomic theory is a necessary basis for understanding the logic of economy functions as a whole, the interaction of individual economic categories and macroeconomic phenomena, such as economic growth, inflation, unemployment, balance of payments, debt, as well as monetary and fiscal policies. The Macroeconomics study programme comprehensively discloses the content of these terms.
The well-known experts will be involved to teach students under this programme – Prof. Dr Jože Damijan, Prof. Dr Bogomir Kovač, Prof. Dr Mojmir Mrak. They will participate in evening discussions concerning the current events in the Slovenian economy and the global economy.
