Slovenian Actress Receives an Award at the International Film Festival in Pula (Croatia)

The Slovenian actress Maruša Majer received the Zlata Arena award at the international Pula Film Festival (Croatia) for the female lead (a girl Mara) in the Slovenian-Croatian film “Ivan” directed by Janez Burger.

The talented actress, who was included in the top ten most talented young actors of Europe for the same role during the last year’s Berlinale, received an award in the category of Coproduced Films in Pula. Among other things, the jury of the festival noted that “she embodied an incredible power of the mother’s instinct” in the mentioned film.
