Slovenia ranked 8th safest country in the world

The Global Peace Index for 2019, which ranks the safest countries in the world, has been released. In general, research shows that the world is less peaceful than a decade ago, but still more peaceful than this time last year.

The report published by the Institute for Economics and Peace ranks 163 countries according to: national and international conflicts, level of harmony or disagreement in the country and indicators related to militarization.

8. Slovenia
