{"id":13098,"date":"2026-10-05T10:22:19","date_gmt":"2026-10-05T08:22:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2tm.eu\/?post_type=news&#038;p=13098"},"modified":"2026-10-05T10:22:21","modified_gmt":"2026-10-05T08:22:21","slug":"university-of-ljubljana-launches-three-new-study-programmes","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/2tm.eu\/en\/news\/university-of-ljubljana-launches-three-new-study-programmes\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Ljubljana Launches Three New Study Programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University of Ljubljana is introducing three new study programmes in the new academic year: <strong>biopharmaceutical engineering, bioeconomy, and bioinformatics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Demand for the Faculty of Medicine remains traditionally high \u2014 the number of available places has been increased from <strong>205 to 240<\/strong>, while <strong>467 applications<\/strong> were submitted. There is also strong interest in programmes offered by art academies and faculties in the fields of healthcare, veterinary medicine, architecture, and psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another important change is the introduction of dedicated places for Slovenians living abroad who hold Slovenian citizenship. A total of <strong>416 places<\/strong> were made available, with <strong>32 candidates admitted<\/strong>, most of them to medicine and veterinary medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than <strong>3,000 applications<\/strong> were submitted by candidates from non-EU countries, with around one thousand students admitted.
