{"id":12877,"date":"2026-08-19T14:01:22","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T12:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2tm.eu\/?post_type=news&#038;p=12877"},"modified":"2026-08-20T14:09:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T12:09:37","slug":"more-than-500000-accommodation-bookings-through-platforms","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/2tm.eu\/en\/news\/more-than-500000-accommodation-bookings-through-platforms\/","title":{"rendered":"Short-term accommodation in Slovenia continues to break records."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In <strong>2025<\/strong>, more than <strong>523,000 bookings<\/strong> for short-term accommodation were made through the four major international online platforms (<strong>Airbnb, Booking, Expedia Group and Tripadvisor<\/strong>) \u2014 <strong>16% more<\/strong> than in the previous year.<br>Based on these bookings, tourists spent <strong>4.53 million nights<\/strong> in short-term accommodation, an increase of <strong>14%<\/strong> compared with 2024. At the same time, <strong>70% of all overnight stays<\/strong> in short-term accommodation were booked through these platforms.<br><strong>91% of bookings<\/strong> were made by foreign tourists.
