A Two-day Seminar on Controlling Tools to Be Held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana

On 17-18 October 2019, a 2-day seminar on Modern Controlling Tools will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana. During the seminar, key economic, commercial and financial concepts will be considered, which are the basis of the substantive work of controllers.

The seminar is a combination of a lecture, presentation of theoretical and practical aspects of the discussed issue, answers to questions and presentations of best practices of Slovenia and foreign countries. The practical examples will show the possibility of using various tools, including a balanced scorecard (BSC), the concept of economic profit and its derivatives (EVA), benchmarking, distribution and planning of costs from operating activities (ABC, ABB, ABM), a Target Costing model, various approaches to financial planning, etc.

The seminar is addressed to managers and specialists in controlling who wish to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the application of various modern controlling tools.
