A Thematic Video Contest Is Held As Part of the International Fraud Awareness Week at the University of Ljubljana
The Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana has become one of the initiators of the International Fraud Awareness Week in Slovenia. The event was first held in 2000 and was organised by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) with the goal of active theft combating and protection of companies and the economy from this pressing problem. President Borut Pahor is the honorary sponsor of the Week in Slovenia in 2019.
The event will be held at the University of Ljubljana on 18-22 November 2019. It will begin with the student event Watch the Money (in the Lila hall on 18 November 2019 from 05:00 p.m. to 07:30 p.m.) Besides, the event will also include a student competition for the best video on the fight against corruption and fraud in the Slovenian society.
The video must be in Slovenian and last for up to 2 minutes. A student or a group of students (maximum of 5 people) can participate in the competition. Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until 4 November 2019, 05:00 p.m.
An independent expert jury, which will include university teachers, representatives of media and partners, will select the three best videos that will be presented during the main conference with the announcement of the winners. The author of the best video will receive the possibility to pass internship and the employment opportunity at Deloitte.
